yesterday i had another lifestlye shoot...as i am back in pittsburgh for a few days i took advantage of the character the city has to offer and shoot in the strip district.  here are just a few images from the shoot...

while we were shooting this guy, "cookie", came over and starting talking to us and asked to have his photo taken...so here is "cookie"...

yep he is wearing a bikini top, yes his nails are painted, and yes he did have high heels on...

i had yet another lifestyle shoot the other day..i was going to wait to post this but i have a ton of traveling coming up and decided to just post now...anyway this is my second shoot with ai...we had fun on the first one that we decided to schedule a second before i left, which is tomorrow.  so this particular shoot was a challenge as we shoot in the exact same area just different time and day...still think we managed to pull off some cool images...

annie leibovitz.  she is simply one of the most talented and respected photographers of our times.  her images have graced magazine, after magazine, after magazine.  her lighting whether it natural or studio is stunning and this november annie leibovitz shares how she achieves her results in her new book Annie Leibovitz At Work , which is being release 11.18 and can be pre-ordered through amazon.  i look forward to reading, practicing, and getting really pissed when mine don't turn out anything like annie's....   

earlier in the week some family, friends and i went for a little swim at our friend Joe Sandy's pool.  i managed to get the camera out for a short while and took a couple photos but quickly had to put the camera back in the bag because every time kieran's, my oldest nephew, goggles fell off i had to put them back on...they fall off a lot...   

earlier today i was making travel arrangements for a few upcoming destination weddings, by the way if i hadn't mentioned before i love shooting destination weddings...anyway, i started thinking about some of the reasons i love to travel and wanted to share one simpler reasons.  the magazines.  i love flipping through various magazines checking out the photography and layout of the spreads.  i love when they take risks with their images and layout and often find inspiration within the pages...here are just a few of the publications i look forward to whenever i'm in the airport...or anywhere for that matter...oh and please feel free to share any which you look forward to so i can keep a look out for them..
